Remove the page description and reposition the 'last modified by' information

In the ZMI, go to and edit the following (creates a copy in the custom folder):
  • portal_skins/plone_content/document_view
Delete the description section and move the byline section to the bottom (inside the tal:main-macro tag). To modify the byline (for example to display extra user details) edit:
  • Portal_skins/portal_content/document_byline
